Williams & Dollard Community Development Corporation (W & D CDC) is a non-profit corporation accentuating the heart of the community. The mission of W & D CDC is to build a solid community through collaborative efforts and partnerships that provide programs and services that address the intergenerational needs of the community. As we continue our commitment to uplifting the community through comprehensive programs and services, fortifying the family unit from early childhood to seniors is crucial to completely fulfilling this charge.
We began serving the heart of the Wilmington community in 2008 under the vision and leadership of Rick Williams, founder of W & D CDC.
We developed four components which consist of: human services, educational services, youth services and community development.
We is a full-service organization working to transform communities into a thriving, diverse and sustainable centers for current and future generations.
We continuously seek to connect the dots between all of the elements necessary for comprehensive neighborhood revitalization, including strong schools, safe and affordable housing, youth development, job training, and resident-led advocacy.
